During the international week we will introduce you to the basics of robot programming, using open-source software such as Linux, Python and the ROS framework. This will be supported by a short introduction to a specific case, and the general principles of the used robots. After this introduction we will teach you how to control the robot using your own code.

The project will guide you through the creation of location-based apps on Android. It will improve your skills in use of modern technology such as Location Beacons, GPS positioning, QR/EAN codes and much more. Participants will develop their own mobile app in small international teams. Basic skill of object oriented programming required.

You are encouraged to make use of a range of resoucres including: Adobe Master Collection and GameMaker to develop and pitch a product that will attract girls to study computing & IT.
